Bug Set
Our landlord set off bug bombs in our new house, and I'm 5 months pregnant..?
Is it safe for me to go into the house? He knew that I was pregnant, and he still set off 2 bug bombs in the house. All of our clothes, as well as my 2 year old's toddler bed (except the mattress) were in the house at the time. What do I, or my husband, need to do before I go in the house. Should we wash down all the surfaces, and is it even safe for me to do anything in the house? They were set off at 6 p.m. last night, and it is only 10 a.m. now. Also, we have a 9 month old maltese puppy and I wondered if it was safe for him to be in the house after they were set off? Thanks in advance!
He didn't have professionals come in, he just bought some at Wal-Mart.

What a dummy! He should have warned you. Well, when my hubby & I bought our house we used the bug bombs too before we moved in just incase there was anything in there. They have a kind at Wal-Mart that is residue free. Hopefully your landlord used that one. With those you don;t have to wash EVERYTHING. It doesn't leave poisinous residue on everything. Just wash your dishes again (duh). You should ask him if thats the one he used. I believe that one comes in the green box and the regular one comes in a red box. I wouldn't worry too much. As long as you weren't in the house during the "bombing" I'm sure baby is fine. Congrats and good luck.
