Die Scalloped
What should I do with these clams or scallops I found washed on the beach?
Right now, I'm on my laptop, and I found some washed up clams or scallops. But I know for certain my brothers friends put them there so they could die. They're still alive, they keep clamping their mouths shut and trying to get into water but they can't move. I don't want to get bit, but I don't want to leave them to die.
They also had some underwater hermit crabs out on lad so they could watch those die as well. I don't know what to do.
Also, I'm not sure if this question is under the right catagory or not. Sorry if it isn't.
I basically live on the beach. Its not even a quarter of a mile from my home. That's a good idea.
I'll try that with the crabs to.
Are you still close to the beach? Then I would get a bucket of ocean water and then take something like a cup and gently scoot them into the water so this way they dont hurt you. Then you can take the bucket down to the beach again and release them back into the ocean. Hope this helped some
