What type of bike frame geometry should I choose to tour outside of shipping route?
I am planning a cycling trip long months in the Indian subcontinent. Roads are not good and I will also have to ride off-road. I plan to buy a bike for the trip. I look a bike frame, fork set, bar drop, Shimano Deore LX components, 26-inch wheels etc. .. Can anyone suggest me on the geometry of the framework and components Coise or share their experience? Thanx in advance.
If I made a trip like this, I would choose this bike: http://www.rivbike.com/products/show/atlantis/50-038 As for components, something solid and reliable, not necessarily high-end. Choose the drop bars with bar end shifters, more reliable than anything else
