What should we put our Baby Shower Registry?

My husband and I have our baby shower in two months. We seek to records at Wal-Mart and Target. What are the key elements that we should ask our records? Thank You. This is our first child and we have a girl.

I used my two books as a more comprehensive list of things ill need for the first year. They ranged from socks of all sizes, onesies, PJS, hats, mittens, wrapped many layers of different sizes, toys, books, bottles, breast pump, stroller, bed and bedding, and so many things.
